Get Your Smile Back With Dental Implants

  • What are Dental Implants?

Dental implants are permanent anchors that replace the root of a missing tooth. An implant is designed to integrate with your jawbone which provides a stable base for a long-term tooth replacement. Because of this, implants look and feel real and won’t move around in your mouth when you eat or talk.

Dental implants are a modern, efficient and sensible alternative to replace natural teeth that you may have lost or damaged. Replacing the root of the tooth not only anchors the new tooth in place but also helps prevent bone loss in your jawbone. If they are taken care of a dental implant can last a lifetime.

There’s no tooth replacement solution more durable and lifelike than a custom-designed dental implant!

  • What to Expect During the Procedure

An initial evaluation is done first to determine what teeth are being replaced. At Bain Dental Group we have 3D Cone Beam Diagnostic Technology, this allows us to get a better picture of your existing bone mass. You should never get a dental implant without getting this 3D imaging done.

If you have a broken or damaged tooth, the next step will be to extract the tooth. This can be done at the same time as the implantation. Your dentist will discuss anesthesia options with you, but in most cases, a local anesthetic like novocaine is used. We then surgically implant artificial tooth roots, made of surgical-grade titanium, into the jawbone. Afterward, we take a mold of your teeth and send it to a laboratory where qualified technicians make a crown specifically designed for your implant.
