Your temporomandibular joint is an important joint that connects your jaw to your skull. When you experience TMJ, the joint isn’t functioning as it is meant to. This can cause persistent pain in the face, jaw, and surrounding areas of your body making everyday activities very uncomfortable.

Symptoms of TMJ include:

• Pain or tenderness in the face or jaw
• Limited jaw movement and/or clicking
• Earaches
• Facial muscle aches
• Difficulty chewing
• Dizziness
• Ringing in the ears
